Shipping Information
This page is designed to inform our customers about the way we ship our products.
Because of the risk of the worms dying and high shipping prices we ONLY ship our products within the contiguous United States.
Information on live worm shipments:
Special Notice:
Effective Immediately: Due to high temperatures throughout the summer months, we will not be shipping any live worms during the months of June, July, and August.
Non-living products, i.e. earthworm castings, will continue to be shipped year-round.
Shipping Methods:
We normally ship orders using USPS Priority Mail.
Orders received by 12 noon Saturday will be shipped Monday.
Orders received after 12 noon Saturday will be shipped either Tuesday, Wednesday or the following Monday.
We recommend that if possible orders be shipped to a place of employment if no one will be available to except the delivery at a residential address.

Reasons why orders may not be shipped:
1. Too Hot or Too Cold:
When temperatures are above 85 degrees F. we will not ship any worms unless you are within the one day shipping range of FedEx, UPS or United States Postal Service. To find out if you are in the one day shipping zone of these carriers please email us at goldenearthfarm@att.net.
When emailing us please be sure to include your name, your zip code, and a way for us to contact you.
When temperatures go below 40 degrees F. we will not ship any worms anywhere to insure that the worms won't freeze while in transit.
2. Holidays:
If a holiday is on a Monday or we are unable to ship Monday we may ship orders on Tuesday or Wednesday.

When emailing us please remember to include your name, phone number, and order number.
Once you get them:
You are responsible for the care and condition of the worms.
Delivery Considerations:
We are not able to guarantee a specific arrival date.
The United States Postal Service provides estimated delivery dates. Once we get this information we will send it to the email address that is provided with the order.
If a problem occurs:
We make every effort to satisfy our customers. Please let us know immediately upon receiving the product if there are any problems with your order.
We will consider that the worms have been delivered alive unless we are notified within 12 hours of the time that the carrier scans or enters them in as delivered.
If your worms have not survived alive then contact us - Golden Earth Farm - not the carrier. Please do not dispose of the worms or the original package until you contact us. Do not refuse the delivery.
Exclusions:
We will not give any credit for an order that is refused upon delivery.
We will not honor any claims unless made within a specified time periods.
Please check your shipping address when ordering.
Any charges for incorrect address information or return shipment will be charged to the customer. We will only charge the exact fee that is billed to us.
If the error is due to our mistake there will be no charge to the customer.
If there's a problem with the order the determination of whether the order is reshipped or refunded is at our discretion.
All Worm Sales Are Final.
Information on products other than live worms:
We normally ship our non-living products via USPS.
Orders received before 12 noon on Saturday will be shipped Monday.
Order placed after 12 noon on Saturday will be shipped either Tuesday, Wednesday or the following Monday.
